My scientific interest falls under the area of Telecommunication systems, Telecomm. Policy, Networking,  Cyber security (Information Assurance). More specifically, spectrum sharing and its policy.

Also, I am interested in the different managerial aspects related to security policies, and applying them on various scales. From small businesses computer systems protection plans, to critical infrastructure protection plans related to protecting the telecommunication infrastructures for countries.   

I am currently working in the area of Spectrum Sharing and my current focus is on its Ex-post Enforcement.

Migrate an old point-to-point satellite system to a modern, advanced, multi media satellite network. Instrumental in the creation of a complex satellite network providing voice, IP data, web access, video conferencing and full motion MPEG4 video services. Providing communications services to the VIPs by deploying network resources appropriately, often at short notice and under extreme time pressures.

 

Planning Engineer, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)

1998 - 1999

Planning for the development of the electricity distribution network and specification of equipment requirements. Developing a strategy to handle transient demands for electricity created by the Hajj pilgrimage when 3 million people visit Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and study of rural electrification program.
